Mission and Purpose
We believe that all children deserve quality health care and the opportunity to grow and thrive in a safe and supportive environment. The Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners is dedicated to supporting and promoting the role of pediatric nurse practitioners, as well as other pediatric-focused providers, educators, and researchers committed to advancing the health and well-being of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.
The purpose of our chapter is to sustain a strong organization that serves as a leader in improving the quality of health care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. We achieve this by promoting and supporting the professional development of pediatric nurse practitioners and pediatric-focused providers, educators, and researchers, while also engaging in advocacy on behalf of pediatric patients and the nursing profession.
